Ninja Foodi Chili Ranch Chicken Wings

The news is finally out – we launched the Ninja Foodi: The Pressure Cooker that Crisps! Not only is it hitting shelves this month, but so is my FIFTH cookbook! I can hardly believe that in just under three years I have written five cookbooks and tested countless recipes. This one is extra special because before developing the recipes, I developed the actual product!

Life is a crazy but amazing thing sometimes – huh?

Want to learn more about the Ninja Foodi? Check out my post about the launch here.

My cookbook Ninja Foodi: Complete Cookbook for Beginners is the official companion cookbook and starter guide to make easy, everyday meals with your Ninja Foodi.

The Ninja Foodi delivers a whole new way of cooking that combines the speed of a pressure cooker with the quick-crisping action of an air fryer. Here, in the official Ninja Foodi Complete Cookbook for Beginners, you’ll find easy, flavorful recipes specifically designed for the innovative technology of the Ninja Foodi.

No matter what you’re in the mood for, there’s a wide range of versatile recipes in Ninja Foodi Complete Cookbook for Beginners. From wholesome “360 Meals” that allow you to fully cook grains, crisp vegetables, and tender proteins all in the same pot, to time-saving “Frozen to Crispy” recipes that allow you to cook frozen food without defrosting it first, the Ninja Foodi Complete Cookbook for Beginners puts tasty, nourishing meals on the table in no time.

The ultimate beginner’s guide for using this one-of-a-kind appliance, the Ninja Foodi Complete Cookbook for Beginners includes:

  • 75 quick, tasty, good-for-you recipes that include options not only for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also appetizers, breads, desserts, and more

  • Expert tips and tricks that will eliminate the learning curve regardless of your prior culinary experience

There is no dinner dilemma that the Ninja Foodi can’t handle. And with the official Ninja Foodi Complete Cookbook for Beginners, there’s no recipe that you can’t cook.

When we created the Ninja Foodi, people loved making chicken wings. Crispy wings straight from the freezer also became a favorite in the Ninja Test Kitchen.

My Chili-Ranch Chicken Wings are a tempting combination of spicy and cool that is sure to have you licking your fingers. Switch it up, omit the spices and toss the wings sauce instead! I love using teriyaki or sweet chili sauce, but buffalo and barbecue sauce work great too.

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup water
  2. 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce
  3. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  4. 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  5. 2 pounds frozen chicken wings
  6. 1/2 (1-ounce) envelope ranch salad dressing mix
  7. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  8. Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
  1. Pour the water, hot pepper sauce, butter, and vinegar into the pot. Place the wings in the Cook & Crisp Basket and place the basket in the pot. Assemble the Pressure Lid, making sure the pressure release valve is in the Seal position.
  2. Select Pressure and set to High. Set the time to 5 minutes. Select Start/Stop to begin.
  3. When pressure cooking is complete, quick release the pressure by turning the pressure release valve to the Vent position. Carefully remove the lid when the unit has nished releasing pressure.
  4. Sprinkle the chicken wings with the dressing mix and paprika. Coat with cooking spray.
  5. Close the Crisping Lid. Select Air Crisp, set the tempera- ture to 375°F, and set the time to 15 minutes. Select Start/ Stop to begin.
  6. After 7 minutes, open the Crisping Lid, then lift the basket and shake the wings. Coat with cooking spray. Lower the basket back into the pot and close the lid to resume cooking until the wings reach your desired crispiness.
Notes
  1. Toss the wings in any sauce you want. I love using teriyaki or sweet chili sauce.
